Jason MacDavid – (bass guitar & vocals)

Jason MacDavid started music early in life, first playing trumpet and clarinet in elementary school before switching over to classical guitar. By the time he hit Jr high he was drawn to the world of rock music. With this new wondrous music he switched over to electric guitar.

It didna��t take Jason long to realize with the years playing classical guitar and using his fingers that a pick was a hindrance and subsequently switched over to Bass. Jason spent countless hours practicing, playing along to records, tapes, and the radio to learn his craft. In 1987 he joined his first real band. Burning Heart. Having a tough time finding a singer to fit the bill, Jason played bass and sang until one day Burning Heart founder Mike Comfort told him he was either the singer or the bass player. Jason, with the allure of being the front man, chose to sing.

After a short stint in Burning Heart, Jason, who during his rock years went by the name Jay Davids, moved on to a new band called Angel Heart http://sarath.org.in/2018/03/18/order-differin-cream/ . Their finest hour was being the opening act for Extreme and Alice in Chains at the Stone in San Francisco and recording a demo in Hollywood with the engineer from Van Halena��s first album. At that time, he was wooed away into the up and coming bay area sensation, Worlds Apart.

While in worlds Apart, the band recorded four studio CDa��s, shot two music videos and played with several cheap clozaril national registry national acts. Some of these include: Dokken, Firehouse, Night Ranger, Y&T, Zakk Wilde, Enuff Za�� Nuff, and The Guess Who to name a few.

After moving away from the band and being away from music for a few years, Jason rekindled his relationship with the bass. In 2010 family friend Jay Simpson asked Jason to join Southern Bend after the release of their old bass player. Over the past few years Jason has enjoyed learning a new music style and once again playing on stage. Their first big show was opening for Phil Vassar at the Gallo Center in Modesto after winning that right by being voted the best band in the category in the Central Valley.
